Grab Your Backpacks, Coshocton Is Back!

Dear Coshocton Families and Community,

The first day of school is almost here and with it comes the energy and promise of a fresh start.

On behalf of everyone at Coshocton City Schools, I want to welcome you to the 2025–2026

school year. Whether you have a preschooler beginning their very first day, a senior preparing

for graduation or anything in between, thank you for being part of our school community.

This year marks an exciting new chapter for our district. We’re proud to open Coshocton Middle

School, creating a focused and supportive learning environment for students in grades 6

through 8. We’ve also expanded our preschool program and introduced a daycare option to

better serve Coshocton families. These changes reflect our ongoing commitment to meeting

students where they are and giving them the strong foundation they need to grow.

We know that the most meaningful learning happens when families, educators and the

community work together. At the heart of it all are our students. They are the reason we teach,

lead and support. Each day, we will show up with purpose to help them become capable,

confident and compassionate people ready to make a difference.

As a district, our mission remains clear: to empower individuals to become literate, respectful,

responsible and independent lifelong learners. We believe that every child deserves the

opportunity to thrive, and we are committed to making that a reality for each and every student

who walks through our doors.
