Welcome to Spring Sports where we have rain, rain, and more rain. I appreciate the patience that everyone has displayed as we try and sort out all these rain outs.
We have an extremely BUSY week! Go out and support your Redskin Athletes when the weather allows it.

The 5th and 6th grade classes are sponsoring a Kids Care College Project Fundraiser. The dates are April 1-5 from 9-10 am and 2:30-3 pm. The snack sale will be held on the 5th/6th grade floor. Our Kids Care project is part of our college visitation program by sending "goodie boxes" to college freshmen right before their finals week. The boxes contain "Good Luck on your finals!" letters and various snack foods.
Varsity and JV baseball are both cancelled today.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
On April 8, the solar eclipse will pass through our area. Wanting to ensure the safety of our students and staff, Coshocton City Schools will be closed for the day. This closure is advised by local emergency services in anticipation of the significant number of visitors our area may receive during this rare celestial event.
The eclipse will occur in Coshocton County between 2:00 PM and 4:30 PM, with the closest approach to totality around 3:13 PM. Total solar eclipses are rare, with only 21 affecting the lower 48 states in U.S. history. The last eclipse visible in Ohio was in 1806, and the next won't be until 2099.
This presents a unique opportunity for our Redskin families to witness this spectacular event safely. We strongly encourage the use of special solar viewing glasses to protect your eyes while enjoying the eclipse. For a detailed guide on safely viewing the eclipse, please visit NASA's eclipse safety page at science.nasa.gov/eclipses/safety/.
Please reach out with any questions and as always ….. GO REDSKINS!
Sincerely,
Mark Kowalski
Superintendent
