Coshocton City Schools will be operating on a two hour delay for Friday, January 19, 2024.
After being board approved, Coshocton Athletics would like to welcome back Coach Scott Loomis and recognize him as the new Head Boys Baseball Coach. Coach Loomis is going to be wearing a few hats this Spring but we are excited to have him lead our students-athletes on the baseball diamond. He brings with him multiple ECOL Coach of the Year honors and the 2014 Eastern District D3 COACH OF THE YEAR award! Thanks for all you do for Coshocton City Schools!

Sports Update for 1/17/24
Swim: Due to scheduling conflict and sickness the swim meet will not be held tonight at CHS.
Boys Basketball: The Freshmen game vs. John Glenn will still be held and the start time will be 5:00 PM
Girls Basketball: JV will follow the boys Freshmen game but due to availability of players we will have 2 quarters of JV and a Varsity game to follow the girls JV game.

As we entered the 2023 school year, we started looking at our facilities as a whole on how we can improve them to give our students through the school day and our student athletes better resources.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: BREAKFAST with DAD (originally scheduled for January 17 & 18) has been RESCHEDULED to January 24th & 25th due to pending inclement weather. The forecast is calling for the possibility of dangerously cold wind chills and snow. Please feel free to turn in registration forms until this Friday, January 18th.
Below you will find the weekly schedule....subject to change due to availability of teams and weather throughout the season. Added Info: We have a PEP RALLY WRESTLING MEET FRIDAY! If you are deciding to come to this you will need to enter through the front office and sign in as a GUEST! All parents/spectators will sit on the Home Side of the gym as we will have students on the Visitor Side of the gym. We have a jam packed week full of events here at Coshocton! Have a great week!!!! This is just a friendly reminder that if you have moved or changed phone numbers since the beginning of the school year we need you to login to your Final Forms account and update that information. You will need to do that for each student you have. Weather related delays and cancellations are communicated via text and phone calls. You may miss important information if what we have on file is not accurate. If you have moved you will also need to bring a proof of residency to the CES Main Office. Elks Hoop Shoot - Sunday, Jan. 21st, 1:00 pm at Coshocton High School.
All students ages 8 - 13 can participate. Registration is the day of the event.
Due to a power outage yesterday at West Muskingum the Varsity *only* Boys Basketball Team will play tonight, Wednesday Jan. 10th at West Muskingum, game time 6:00 pm

The Coshocton County Fatherhood Initiative will again be hosting a breakfast for CES students and their father figures. This year the breakfast will be on Wed. Jan. 17th for students with last names A-L and Thurs. Jan. 18th for students with last names M-Z. Sign-up sheets will be going home with each student. Please only fill out one per family.
