Hello, this is Dave Hire, Superintendent of the Coshocton City Schools, with several important announcements for all parents and staff.
First, tomorrow, Wednesday, February 10th, is a scheduled two-hour early dismissal for all students for Staff Professional Development meetings. Students will be released two hours earlier than their normal times. Tomorrow’s weather may change these plans and we will communicate any changes. If we are on a 2 hour delay in the morning, we will not have the early dismissal.
Second, as a reminder, there is no school for all students (both face-to-face and remote students) next Monday, February 15th in observance of Presidents’ Day.
Third, and this is a new change, all students will be on a Remote Learning Day on Friday, February 19th, to allow for staff COVID-19 Vaccinations that day. In order to complete all of these vaccinations, we will also need to have a remote learning day for the second dose later in March. Again, at this time, staff will be receiving vaccinations on Friday, February 19th throughout the day, and all students will be on a remote learning day.
As always, please check our website for additional information or contact your building if you have any questions.
Thank you for your attention to this notification and have a good evening!
