This is just a reminder that there is no school on Monday, September 6th due to Labor Day. Also, the Board of Education has rescinded its decision to require masks. While masks are no longer required, they are still strongly encouraged. Please have a safe and healthy Labor Day weekend and enjoy the holiday.

Good Evening, this is Abigail Adams CES beginning band director. This year your fifth and sixth grade students will have the opportunity to join the beginning band! Beginning band will give your students opportunities to make new friends, learn a new instrument, and create memories that will last forever. Your students will be introduced to all of the instruments this Wednesday, with a representative from CA House music. Next week, on Wednesday, September 8, we will be holding an instrument rental night from 5-6pm at the elementary school! Please come if you are interested in joining! You will get to meet the beginning band directors, try new instruments, and decide which instrument is the best fit. I'm looking forward to seeing you and your students at beginning band instrument rental night!
