My initial months as superintendent of Coshocton City Schools have been a time of observation and connection. I've spent time in classrooms, met with our dedicated staff, and listened to the voices of our families. These experiences have been instrumental in understanding the heartbeat of our schools.

Looking forward, my focus not only set on planning for the 2024-25 school year but developing a pathway of success for years to come. Throughout every step, our mission remains at the forefront: Empowering individuals to become literate, respectful, responsible, and independent life-long learners in an ever-changing global society. As a district, we will be looking for ways to provide a high quality and modern educational experience and environment for all students while also exercising financial responsibility.

I look forward to collaborating with our board of education as we steer Coshocton City Schools forward. With January being School Board Recognition Month, it is the perfect time for us to acknowledge the critical role that our board plays for our schools and our community. Their dedication and vision are instrumental in shaping the future of Coshocton City Schools. We are grateful for the continued service of Mr. Sam Bennett, Dr. Jere Butcher, Mrs. Susan Mann and Mr. David Shutt. We are also excited to welcome the fresh perspectives of newly elected member, Stacey Ganz.

Together, let's continue to nurture a learning environment where every student is cherished, every voice is heard, and every dream is valued. Here's to a future filled with growth, collaboration, and the relentless pursuit of excellence in Coshocton City Schools.

Superintendent
